Off line – our first album

Have you ever heard this one? Our first album “off line” was released 2004. The line-up was, besides Marcus, singer Emil Gammeltoft, Magnus Stenvinkel hitting the bass and Björn Lundgren on the drums. It contained twelve track and just with the later ones it had a couple of covers (the Nazareth classic “Expect No Mercy” and “Paralyzed” by the Cardigans) as well as couple of guest artists. In this case legendary Manny Charlton and Swedish all-star-musician Kalle Moraeus. And just like the following albums it also had a few electronic tracks.

Considering that “off line” was totally self produced it actually got pretty good reviews.

Swedish band NERVED delivers a real musical ball-punch” /Janne Stark, Sweden Rock Magazine (SE)

“…the potential herein is more than enough.” /Mattias Kling, Aftonbladet (SE)

“…NERVED from Sweden will hit your stomach with a heavy punch. “Thomas Klaner/ Bright Eyes Magazine (D)

The artwork was done by David Östlund and all photos by Mårten Levin. The CD is pretty rare, and it was a long time since Sony Music removed it from all streaming platforms. But you can find it on Sound Cloud, just follow this link.
