Kompromat is NERVED’s fourth studio album, bringing together radically reworked songs from Off Line and Finally Nerved with previously unreleased material, including I Rise.

The earlier recordings have not simply been remastered. They have been dismantled and rebuilt with the precision, power and identity NERVED have developed over more than two decades.

Industrial metal, electronic rhythms, cinematic arrangements and massive guitars meet Petra Kvännå’s unmistakable voice, charged with equal parts rock, blues and soul. The result is darker, heavier and more defined, while still refusing to follow the usual rules of metal.

An Extraordinary Guest List

Kompromat brings together some of the most distinctive voices and musicians in Scandinavian heavy music.

Richard Sjunnesson from The Unguided appears on Don’t Lie. Thobbe Englund from Sabaton and Russian rapper MAD A join NERVED on Takin’ Its Toll. Jens Westin from Corroded and Pontus Norgren from HammerFall feature on Disclosure, while Zak Tell from Clawfinger leaves his unmistakable mark on Scars.

Each guest adds something of their own, but every song remains unmistakably NERVED.

Acclaimed in Sweden and Beyond

Rocknytt awarded Kompromat 4 out of 5 and praised NERVED for having “its own unique DNA within the Swedish metal scene.”

The new track I Rise also received a full 5 out of 5 from French music magazine Direct Actu, who highlighted the song’s combination of alternative metal, symphonic rock and industrial energy.

This limited vinyl edition includes an exclusive remix of Everlasting, originally released on Leave It All Behind. The remix will not be available on Spotify or any other streaming platform.

Kompromat is also the final NERVED album featuring drummer Adde Larsson. It closes the band’s first twenty years while pointing clearly towards what comes next.
