I Love You – here is where it starts
On Christmas Day 2004 a large part of the Swedish population stops chewing on their Christmas chocolate. A TV commercial from Save the Children makes it clear how domestic violence looks in the eyes of the victim - the child. Many still remember the day when they first saw it, as well as the sequels.
This is also the first time people get to hear "I Love You". Written and created by Marcus Hanser, who was the master mind behind the idea of the TVC. Nerved's bass player at that time, Magnus Stenvinkel, and their common friend Richard Tedenholt played big part of the creation of this film. It was shot in a basement - a true low budget production. Many more TVCs was to follow - the campaign was a success. The first time the song was published as a whole was on the album Finally Nerved.
As we close in to 15 January 2018, the five year anniversary revisit to this special song is a fact. We have created a playlist on our YouTube channel where we have gathered all the TV commercial "I Love You" has been the soundtrack to. And of course the magic/tragic music video made by Amrit Forss to the revisited version. Go here and enjoy them all!
Fun fact. I Love You remixed by Dumb Dan hit the UK Dance charts in 2007. Find them here!

Nice words from Side 33
Nice words are always nice to read. Obviously Mads Kornum who runs the danish site www.side33.dk noticed our performance on Copenhell, despite the early hour.
"Last but not least, Swedish Nerved deserve a few words along the way. Just showing up in a suit and with a singer in something that could look like an alternative take on a wedding dress creates attention. The nerves remained within the clothes, and they managed with a solid symphonic round of metal rock in the European top class - not unlike a band like Nightwish - to emphasize that Copenhell is actually a place where there is much more than nostalgic pleasure - there is also plenty of nourishment for curiosity."
Thanks. And thanks Henrik Hildebrandt for great pics.

Heaven at Copenhell
The premiere for the new line-up became at the Gehenna stage at Copenhell. And what a blast it was! Amazing crew, lovely audience and even great weather. Keep an eye on our instagram feed for images. And such magic to finally be alive again. Thank you Copenhell!

We add Adde
And here he is - our new drummer Andreas "Adde" Larsson! One of Sweden's most hired freelance drummers within metal and hard rock. But as it came out, he was looking for a band to call his own.
- I was looking for a band with a sound like Rammstein and Muse. All of a sudden my friend Peter "Tintin" Jörgensen (the Swedish lighting engineer legend) told me that NERVED was looking for a new drummer. I checked them out ang BANG fell in love with their music immediately.
Adde are usually on several albums every year. You might have heard him with Red Wolf, Urbandux, Destiny, Deth by Audio, Man Machine Industry, and Massive Audio Nerve ...just to mention a few. You can see him in action here.
We are proud to add Adde to NERVED. His skills, beat and passion will add dimensions to our music. To enter the stage on Copenhell on June 18 will be a sheer pleasure!
- On my bucket list was to be a part of a band that I love, as well as play on Copenhell. As I join NERVED I kill two birds with one stone.
